This Privacy Policy describes how Ægent ("we", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our sales-intelligence platform.

1. Information we collect

We collect three categories of information:

Account information. Name, email, and authentication identifiers — handled by our identity provider Clerk.
Deal and pipeline data. Companies, contacts, deal values, qualification fields, notes, transcripts, and recordings you create or upload — stored in our database (Supabase).
Usage and diagnostics. Standard server logs (IP address, request paths, error traces) for operating and securing the service.

2. How we use it

To provide the platform — display your pipeline, score qualification, generate AI summaries.
To process transcripts and meeting content via large-language-model providers (see Sub-processors).
To communicate operational notices about the service.
To improve the product through aggregate, de-identified analysis.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your deal content to train any third-party model.

3. Sub-processors

We rely on the following sub-processors to operate the service:

Clerk — authentication and user identity
Supabase — database and storage
Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery
Anthropic — large-language-model processing for deal analysis
OpenAI — speech-to-text transcription and supplementary LLM tasks
Microsoft — optional integration (Teams transcripts, Outlook send-mail)
Salesforce — optional integration (deal sync)

4. Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. On account deletion, we remove your deal data and recordings within 30 days. Backup copies may persist for an additional 30 days before they roll off our backup retention window.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), or other applicable data protection laws — including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@aegent.ai.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary for authentication and session management (set by Clerk and our own backend). We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and audited. We do not currently hold formal compliance certifications such as SOC 2; updates will appear here.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change.
